Jonathan Femi-Cole Stands Out at Combine

by August 15, 2013

Congratulations go out to RB Jonathan Femi-Cole who put on a performance at The IDFFL Regional Combine (Mississauga). A High School athlete Femi-Cole compared favorably to 2013 NFL 2nd Round Pick (Denver Broncos) Montee Ball.

40 yard

Broad Jump

Our combine was run by Sport Testing, the company that runs the CFL, CIS, NBA, and NHL combines.  So you can’t dismiss this performance and say that it was a friendly Coach with a quick finger that tracked the times.  These times are very official, and are entered into the NCAA Database.

It was not just Ball. If you look at the what all RB’s did at the 2013 NFL combine (article attached), you will see that the  17 year old HS student Femi Cole would not have been out of place. In fact, had he participated at the 2013 NFL Combine he would have ranked:

Jonathan Femi-Cole

Jonathan Femi-Cole

15th out of 34 in the 40 yard dash

12th out of 33 in the vertical (not all athletes compete in each event at the NFL Combine)

12th out of 33 in the broad jump

That is an amazing performance, and proof that Ontario athletes deserve the same attention that US athletes get.The IDFFL is working hard to make sure that happens.

Well done Jonathan, you are a BEAST!!!!  We know that you earned these results through your dedicated hard work and incredible work ethic.  Keep it up, we look forward to more great news from you.
