Anthony Cannon- President and CEO, is the Founder of Elev8 Performance and the creator of the IDFFL. Anthony was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2006 NFL draft, playing 4 seasons with the Lions. A standout linebacker on the Tulane Green Wave University football team, he was a four-time All-Louisiana selection and a Freshman All-American. Anthony has extensive experience working with up-and-coming athletes and helping them achieve the next level. Having played in the NFL and CFL, Anthony knows what it takes to make it to the highest levels and he is dedicated to imparting this knowledge through his programs.
Jordan Younger- Executive Director, a three time CFL All Star, a two time Grey Cup winner and was selected as defensive captain of the 2012 Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts. He attended the University of Connecticut where he was a two time All Conference performer. After a standout collegiate career Jordan was selected as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL. Jordan retired after entering his 10th season in the CFL nine of those being played with the Toronto Argonauts. He is active in the GTA speaking at schools as a spokesperson for the Argonauts Huddle Up Against Bullying Prevention program. With a professional football career spanning 13 seasons Jordan brings a wealth of football knowledge as well as strong network of football contacts in both Canada and the US.
Maurice Mann- VP of Business Development, was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 5th round of the NFL draft. The California native played 3 seasons in the NFL, and is currently in his 6th season in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts. Maurice was a three sports athlete throughout his High School and University career. He is also a certified fitness professional with the NFPT. Maurice brings a vast network of contacts throughout California and the US.
Kirk Broussard- Northwest Regional Director, most recently served in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills as Offensive Assistant Intern Coach TE/RB in 2015 under Rex Ryan, with the Detroit Lions as a RB coaching intern under Coach Jim Schwartz and an intern for the Minnesota Vikings during the 2010 season.
Broussard received an athletic scholarship to play football at Pasadena City College, California in 1999 before transferring to Citrus College in 2001 where he started at FS while also participating in track. He later would pursue professional opportunities overseas in various leagues GFL, NIFL, AFL, and NFLE.
Broussard served as WR coach at Bluefield College in 2012. He has served as Associate GM of the West Texas Roughneck Professional Indoor Arena Football (AF) and as Director of Player Personnel and Offensive Coordinator for Arena Football Teams such as Columbus Lions and Mississippi Mudcats.
Broussard served as the Itawamba Community College RB Coach in Furthermore and spent 2006 as the FB & LB Coach of the Lakeland Thunderbolts (NIFL) AF. Coach Broussard was tabbed as a “young player personnel Guru” by The Northeast 360 Mississippi Daily News in 2007 as he is affectionately known, brings a wealth of knowledge to the game. Broussard is also a Community Activist, Motivational Speaker, Sports Talk Radio Analyst and Scouting/Player Evaluator.
Demetrius Byrd- Executive Director, is a former WR. He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft despite a serious car accident in Florida a week before the draft. Byrd was upgraded from critical to good, discharged from the Intensive care unit and placed on the non-football injury/illness reserve list. Byrd started for two years at Pearl River earning his first team All-American junior college honors. He was rated the No. 8 junior college WR in America by JCGridiron.com in 2006. He finished his college football career at Louisiana State University.
